The Winter break just began on December 12th. On that day, we had breakfast together, and the winter break ceremony. After we finished the ceremony, the Ichthus students started packing up. They finished cleaning their rooms in the morning, and the students started leaving the school. Some parents came over here to bring their kids. Some students were glad to see their parents, and some others were sad about not seeing their friends for a while. They moved their bags into their parents’ cars, said goodbye to their friends, and headed back to their homes.
<The day that the Winter break started>
Because some students did not have rides, we provided the ride for students and their parents to the bus station. While we were helping students leave the dorm for Winter break, we felt sorry for the students who were in poor financial situations.
After students left the school, all classrooms were empty and quiet.
Even thought the Winter break began, some students decided to stay here a little bit more. About 10 of students stayed here for one more week to study more, and teachers also stayed the school with them to help their studies.
We just finished the fall semester. Although we could feel calmness here at the Ichthus Mission Center, the Ichthus teachers are having busy time on this Winter break for planning next semester. We always appreciate the Ichthus teachers for their hard work and devotion to their students.
